NES Associates is searching for an experienced PC Technicians to provide on-site IT migration and sustainment support services for Government and Contractor end-user personnel at DOD locations in Kittery, ME. Support is required to ensure all hardware and software (operating system and applications), other miscellaneous IT equipment, and network are functioning at all times to support mission requirements. Support will be provided over the phone, via email and on-site. The PC Technician shall:
As part of an IT sustainment Services team provide on-site support during the following coverage hours: 0600-1600 Monday - Friday; occasional on-call support may be required after hours and on weekends.
Provide IT support services for on-site hardware and software, and provide technical support for more than 125 end-user personnel, ensuring full operability of all IT equipment, to include network servers, PCs, printers, portable computers, Blackberry devices, Polycom units and other miscellaneous IT equipment.
Perform equipment relocation, installation, expansion, connection/disconnection, upgrades, support/maintenance, and preventive maintenance of computer systems hardware, documentation, and peripheral devices.
Survey new installations, relocate existing or install new IT equipment as requested by the customer on-site support staff.
Image PCs with latest sanctioned images, configure systems for users, and resolve any systems access issues for users.
Install and maintain all types of network and PC attached printers (bar code, inkjet & laser); install and configure network print servers; and troubleshoot problems with print servers.
Provide support for CAC (Common Access Card) deployment.
Install smart card readers, middle-ware, and PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) Certificates.
Provide troubleshooting, guidance and training to customer personnel on use of the CAC card and its software certificates.
Provide software configuration, troubleshooting, and resolution.
Provide technical support on software installation and configuration.
Provide IT support for special projects; for example upgrades to RF, RFID, LANs, etc. that may include assisting other contractors.

Assist the customer's on-site IT support staff in applying pertinent Defense Information Security Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs).
Assist the customer's on-site IT support staff in troubleshooting and restoring network (LAN/WAN) issues.
## Required Skills
Knowledge of PC hardware and software installation, repair, testing and troubleshooting.
Basic understanding of network infrastructure, including structured cabling and LAN architecture.
Knowledge of basic networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Active Directory, MS Exchange and network security safeguards as necessary.
Ability to perform hardware and software upgrades to existing computers using the MS Windows operating systems and associated MS productivity software programs.
Excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as strong team and customer relationship skills.
## Required Experience
Must have one of the following approved DoD 8570 Information Assurance (IA) certifications:
Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISSP Associate.
Must have one of the following approved Computing Environment (CE) certifications:
MCA: MS Windows Server Directory (Microsoft Certified Architect: Microsoft Windows Server: Directory)
MCITP EA (Microsoft Certified IT Professional Enterprise Administrator)
MCITP SA (Microsoft Certified IT Professional Server Administrator)
MCM: Windows Server 2008: Directory (Microsoft Certified Master: Windows Server 2008: Directory)
MCSA:WS2008 (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate Windows Server 2008)
MCSA:WS2012 (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate Windows Server 2012)
MCSE:WS2012 (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert Windows Server 2012)
Must have at least a DoD Secret Clearance.
