Responsibilities:
POSITION
Summary:
Perform research and analyze training needs working with various levels of end-users to create training plans and specified training materials for software systems.
Responsibilities:
Confers with customers to gain knowledge of identified work situations requiring preventive or remedial training for employees and for the establishment of organization-wide training programs and prescribed learning and curriculums.
Develops, documents, and evaluates training programs.
May configure company or customer prescribed system and provide documentation and training on the system.
Responds to requests for specialized training and performance improvement requirements, and conducts training sessions to meet customer requirements.
Tests trainees to measure their learning progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training presentations.
Collects measurements and reports on learning progress and performance to evaluate effectiveness of training.
May evaluate and recommend training programs that can be utilized in developing specialized skills.
May provide guidance to less experienced employees.
Required Qualifications:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :
Requires a bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or equivalent technical degree, and two to four years of related (training) experience
Minimum 1-3 years' experience gathering requirements and developing software application training plans and training materials
Ability to write and communicate efficiently
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment and utilize critical thinking skills.
US Citizenship with Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one
Qualifications:
Previous experience developing training plans and materials for the Navy a plus.
Knowledge of CMMI processes and procedures a plus.
