This position is located in the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), Mid-Atlantic (MIDLANT), Public Works Department (PWD)-MAINE. The incumbent serves as the Engineer or Architect in charge of post award execution of capital improvement projects in which the PWD or Resident/Regional Officer in Charge of Construction (ROICC) is assigned as Administrative Contracting Officer (ACO). This is an Interdisciplinary position which may be filled by any of the following series: General Engineer (0801) or Architect (0808).
You must be a US Citizen. Must be registered for Selective Service, see Legal & Regulatory Guidance. Suitable for Federal employment as determined by background investigation. Selectee may be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
Identifies the need for modification to scope, cost, and/or schedule with the contractor or other entities.
Coordinates major outages for utilities with top management and various commands.
Reviews pre-final contract drawings and specifications for design-bid-build and design-build projects.

_MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:_
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled and has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities, to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing construction contractors and design firms in the post award execution of capital improvement projects.
