Assist with the training of new and seasonal sales associates at the time of hire and ongoing.
Develop management, organizational and merchandising skills by working closely with the store management team.
Maintain a sense of professionalism at all times, acting as an example for store staff.
Maintain all store displays and uprights/shelves, understanding the priorities of stocking, signage and cleaning.
Maintain store counters in regards to supplies, safety and cleanliness.
Assist the store management team with the organization and execution of all store and stockroom activities.
Create weekly store staff schedule and daily worksheets, as determined by the store manager, and maintain the store calendar of events.
Assist in the office or stockroom as needed, or as directed by the store management team.
Develop a clear understanding of the company design concepts, focusing on merchandising to create sales.
Maintain an awareness of all product information, intranet communications, current advertising, promotions and catalogues, and the status of merchandise, and communicate all pertinent information to store associates.
Maintain an awareness of current merchandise in all departments and sell merchandise throughout the entire store.
Assist the store manager in maximizing sales floor coverage remaining sensitive to productivity in all areas of the store.
Actively participate in store meetings and training sessions; this may include presenting a topic or demonstrating a product.
Assist department managers with the maintenance of their departments.
Support and model excellent service by exhibiting a positive attitude and enthusiasm toward the job and company to both internal and external customers in all forms of communication.
Ensure all customers are provided gracious, quick and efficient service.
Required Skills
Customer service experience
Retail experience preferred
Good reading and written language skills (English)
Basic math, organizational skills, interpersonal skills, telephone presence, data entry skills.
High school diploma/GED or equivalent
Ability to move and/or lift up to 50 lbs; heavier merchandise with team assist
Available to work some evenings and a weekend day

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
