Dell Inc.''s wholly owned subsidiary Dell Services Federal Government, Inc. (DSFG) is seeking a General Clerk who uses some subject-matter knowledge and judgment to complete assignments consisting of numerous steps varying in nature and sequence. The General Clerk III selects from alternative methods and refers problems not solvable by adapting or interpreting substantive guides, manuals, or procedures. Typical duties include: assisting in a variety of administrative matters; maintaining a wide variety of financial or other records (stored both manually and electronically); verifying statistical reports for accuracy and completeness; compiling information; and handling and adjusting complaints.
This position supports the customer Travel Department. Duties and responsibilities include:
a. Perform clerical functions consistent with processing travel requests and vouchers through the Defense Travel System (DTS) application.
b. Assist employees with travel requirements, which include making travel arrangements, preparing travel orders, contacting the Travel Office for flights, arranging hotel and car reservations.
c. Track documents through review process, including sending out reminders, checking traveler transportation has been ticketed and the review of all travel vouchers for accuracy.
d. Provide updated Travel Reports.
e. Provide Travel Metrics using various data sources.
f. Review, distribute and file Process Travel Compensation Time Packets.
g. Provide data for the quarterly Travel Bulletin for review, distribute after final review.
h. File travel related reports, records, forms, including but not limited to copies of Travel Compensation Time Records, GOVTCC Applications, Statements of Understanding, and GOVTCC Training Certificates.
i. Provide draft report for Performance Self Assessment (PSA) metrics.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
